This Privacy Policy describes how ytultra.com ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services at ytultra.com. By using ytultra, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in via a third-party provider (such as Google), your name and profile picture as provided by that service. Account authentication is handled by Clerk (clerk.com). We do not store your password directly.
We collect records of your tool usage, including the YouTube video URLs you submit, the tools you use (e.g., Subtitle Downloader, Video Summary, Script Generator), and the generated outputs associated with your account. This data is used to power your usage history and improve the service.
We may collect standard server logs including your IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and pages visited. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and service improvement.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
ytultra integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy and data practices: Clerk (clerk.com) handles user authentication; YouTube Data API (Google) retrieves publicly available video metadata, subtitles, and transcripts; OpenRouter (openrouter.ai) processes AI-generated content by transmitting transcript text to language model providers; our own backend API (api.ytultra.com) handles transcript and subtitle retrieval under this same Privacy Policy.
We retain your account information and usage history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. AI-generated outputs stored in your history may be deleted at any time from your account dashboard.
ytultra retrieves publicly available information from YouTube videos, including transcripts, subtitles, and metadata. We do not download, store, or redistribute video files or copyrighted content. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of generated content complies with applicable copyright law and YouTube's Terms of Service.
We use session cookies required for authentication (managed by Clerk). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Standard analytics may be used to understand aggregate usage patterns.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. You use ytultra at your own risk.
ytultra is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
